My current iPhone 3G is getting kind of old (It’s like 1.75 years old now) and could use a little update. Plus my birthday is in August, my contract is up in August, I’m home in August, I think that’ll be the time when I get a new iPhone… First off - until the start of this year, my last cellphone lasted me 8.5 years before I replaced it, so consider yourself lucky (pesky kids ;) ). Secondly. I’d be allll, and I mean alllll over this, except for the extra cost per month, to, effectively “rent it” from the cellphone providers. If I could buy this thing for say £399 (approx. $580, ‘cause Apple always rips us UK peeps off) “off contract”, then I would. But I can’t, so it’s back to listening out for iPod Touch rumors.
