Usually when I buy Potatoes, I tend to buy 2.5KG bags at a time. Recently experimented with buying 5KG bags, which work out cheaper [and last, as long as the bag is kept in the fridge].
Anyways, picked up a bag on Tuesday, and it seems Aldi [or their supplier] filled it with Baking Potatoes, rather than regular ones.
Result: HUGE potatoes. OM NOM NOM!!
[There’s also slightly more Chicken than that picture would have you believe - it extended a lit under the carrots].
Oh, btw: Total cost: £1.07 / $1.64. With the exception of the Yorkshire Puddings and the mash, which were frozen, all the above was prepared from fresh healthy ingredients [organic, in the case of the carrots.]
